As instruction shifts toward web-assisted models, the need for collaboration between faculty and online learning staff is imperative. The best approach to building equitable courses is simple: Let the instructional designers be the IDs and the subject matter experts be the SMEs. Simple? Well, in theory, at least. In this session, we’ll discuss how defining design roles, wearing appropriate hats, and gaining administrative support can foster healthy collaboration for quality course creation.
